Weather: Extremely windy, gusts throughout the day
Anglers: 4 brave competitors
Despite battling relentless winds that whipped across the lake all day, four determined anglers took to Medip Springs for a pole-only match that tested both skill and patience.
The blustery conditions made presentation tricky and holding a pole steady was a challenge in itself. However, perseverance paid off for Sam J, who adapted brilliantly to the conditions and secured 1st place with an impressive 19lb 8oz. His catch included a tidy mix of silvers and small carp, all carefully coaxed from the margins.
Ron S followed closely behind, claiming 2nd place with a solid 17lb. He worked hard to keep bites coming, adjusting depths and feeding patterns to stay competitive throughout the session.
The remaining two anglers struggled to find consistency in the swirling wind, but all managed to weigh in and contribute to a spirited match.
